A cross-disability advocacy group, addressing the needs and concerns of the disabled
community in the Tri-County area, with a particular focus on affordable transportation. The Hope
Centre runs the Dial-A-Ride program, which is a door-to-door transportation service in Yarmouth
County.

Public Transit

Public transportation operates on a “flag-down” system as well as designated stops. Does not
run on Sundays or most holidays. The map of all designated stops and run times can be
found on the Town of Yarmouth’s webpage.

A registered charity that exists to provide door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible transportation
options to all Shelburne County residents. Services run Monday to Friday, 7 am-5 pm, with
special requests for early/late transport. Closed on holidays and snow days. Weekend or
Holiday drives are handled on a case-by-case basis, based on driver availability.
